The 1st day

Baku / Azerbaijan – Turkmenbashy Turkmenistan

Meeting of tourists in the port, night in Turkmenbashi depends on the arrival of tourists in the port. (One night stay at the hotel “Hazina”, drive to see town, Avaza). The guide will travel by car tourists.

Regular – Bus

Lunch – at the local restaurant.

Dinner – at the local restaurant.

Overnight at the hotel – Hazina 5*  or similar

The 2nd day

Turkmenbasy – Ashgabat (City tour)

After breakfast, hotel check out and drive to Ashgabat.. On the way see Kow-Ata. The Turkmen name Kow-Ata means “Father of caves”. At first glance, this underground area appears like a magnificent auditorium: the overall length of the cave is 230 m, its height reaches 20 m, and its width is at some points 57 m. The bottom of the cave is covered with lumps of dissolved limestone (stalagmites), and its warm and gushing water is clear and emerald colored.

After arrive we will visit the Arch of Neutrality and Monument and park of Independence

The 3rd day

Ashgabat (City tour)– Nisa

After breakfast, 08:00 we will start to visit “Old Nisa” -The Sanctuary of Parthian Kings (UNESCO site), “Gypjak” Mosque and Mausoleum of the late President of Turkmenistan. Lunch in a local restaurant. Dinner at “Bambuk” restaurant. + Folk show.

Breakfast – at the hotel. Lunch – at the local restaurant.

Dinner – at the local restaurant.

Overnight at the hotel – Ak Altin 4*  or similar

The 4th day

Ashgabat- Horse Farm  Darwaza (gas crater)

Tour starts of visiting Horse farm exploring the pride of the Turkmen people – Akhal-Teke horses. In addition, Traditional Tea party, short Akhal-Teke horse show program and can see the racks of horses. Then walk to the parks.  Lunch at local restaurant.  Then drive to the Darwaza. trip to Darwaza – Gas Crator, which is a huge flaming crater, located 270 km to the north of Ashgabat. Enroute lunch and visiting one of the villages Bahardok or Erbent to observe the rural life of Turkmen people. Continue with moving to the Water, Clay and Gas Crater. In the evening enjoy the spectacular and fascinating view of the gas crater.

Dinner – picnic style.

Overnight at the tent.

The 5th day

Darwaza (gas crater) – Ashgabat

Today will return to Ashgabat, we will visit Ertoghrul Ghazi mosque and Carpet Museum, where can explore the history of Central Asia’s carpet industry.

It has the largest collection of Turkmen carpets of any museum. It has a rich collection of Turkmen carpets from the medieval through to the 20th century, including over 1000 carpets from the 18th and 19th centuries. Aside from its extensive collection of antique carpets, it has many carpet articles, chuvals, khurjuns, torba etc. And the hand-woven carpet which is recognized as the largest carpet in the world by the Guinness World Records. Measure is 301m2. After lunch drive to the Gulistan bazaar, where in reality can experience the beauty of Turkmen carpets and oriental silver jewelries, and buy souvenirs.

The 6th day

Ashgabat-Mary

Hotel check-out and drive to Mary located 367 km to the east of Ashgabat. Then you will visit  Ancient Merv– Merv, located at the former banks of the Murghap River, was the most important Silk Road hub in the region, and particularly thriving as regional capital under Seljuk governor Sanjar.Merv is the collective name of five urban centers that existed under various different names in different periods from the VI c BC up to the XVIII c AD.

Overnight at the hotel – Mary 4*  or similar.

The 7th day

Mary-Farab / Alat border

After breakfast, hotel check out and drive to Turkmenabad city. Lunch in Turkmenabat. Continue driving to Turkmen-Uzbek border Farap/Alat. Start at 8:00. Cross the border at 15:00- 16:00.

Breakfast – at the hotel. Lunch – at the local restaurant.
